The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of duties in the repair, servicing and general maintenance of the hospital physical plant and equipment. What You'll Do: Complete work orders that include: repair, servicing, and general maintenance of hospital physical plant and equipment. Performs basic repairs, including but not limited to: general maintenance on such items as drywall, painting patching, toilets, water and streamlines, clogged drains, sprinkler systems, food carts, San-I-Pak waste sterilizer, dish washing machines, stoves, hot water tanks and air conditioning. Performs building maintenance requiring basic carpentry, painting, plastering and other related duties according to generally accepted methods. Performs extensive snow shoveling of hospital grounds during the winter months. Accurately logs and documents all maintenance and service work performed in a timely manner. Maintains a 20-minute response time when required to be "on-call". Who You Are: Problem solver Able to improvise and troubleshoot problems Good communicator
