Position Summary: Maintenance technician shall maintenance work to maintain the production equipment and components. Also this position is required to Preventive maintenance work and organizational activities. Role Description: Maintenance work, installation, repair, modification, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance as directed or in accordance with routine Preventive Maintenance Program. Find out abnormal condition for any part of the production equipment using special tools or sensory organ. Maintenance technician shall report work result, machine condition, and operation that maintenance needs to address to immediate supervisor or maintenance management on time. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: · Based on career and experience, Mechanical technician performs mechanical maintenance, installation, repair, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance as directed or in accordance with routine PM Program. (Drives, belts, gears, other mechanical drive, etc.) · Based on career and experience, Electrical technician performs electrical maintenance, installation, repair, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance as directed or in accordance with routine PM Program.(PLC, motor control, AC/DC Drives, intrinsically safe/explosion proof systems, power circuits, electronic circuits, etc.) · Maintain process systems, plant utility and support systems, Air system, Chillers, Boilers, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, etc.) · Repair, rework, and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies and systems to meet operational specifications and tolerances. · Fabricate and assemble new or modified mechanical components for products such as industrial machinery or equipment, and measuring instruments. · Perform preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment and system. · Follow safety regulations and remains current on all OSHA, Arc Flash, and LO/TO procedures and updates as required. · Read blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, mechanical/electrical diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly. · Respond to plant emergences to include breakdowns, spills, power outages, equipment malfunctions, etc. · Keep record spare parts use on the system and report usage to immediate supervisor or management in a timely manner. · Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and provide reports as needed. · Flexibility in working hours to include weekends, holidays, off shift and shift rotation. · Respond production and other team’s call for maintenance support in a timely manner. · Keep work area, common tools and given tool cart always to meet 5S criteria · Position may require on-call duty or overtime.
