This role is critical to the Maintenance team, performing routine maintenance functions and mechanical and systematic troubleshooting. Requirements

  • Has a minimum of 5 years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial manufacturing production and material-handling equipment.
  • Possesses a strong understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Has basic reading skills and must be able to follow directions.
  • Has a High School diploma or GED required; Associate Technical Degree preferred.
  • Can display the ability to read and understand technical documents.
  • Is OSHA 10 Hours Certified.
  • Has excellent problem-solving skills, understanding of industrial EHS requirements/policies, corrective action efforts/systems improvements, equipment installations, participate in risk/hazard abatement.
  • Can recognize and mitigate potential safety hazards.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening, medical physical and, if applicable, visual testing.
  • Ability to regularly move 30-50lbs.
  • Ability to regularly perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately.

Nice To Haves

  • Is preferably certified within a specific technical or vocational training.

Responsibilities

  • Performing assigned tasks that include but not limited to; plumbing, mechanical repairs and assisting in installations, and general repairs including troubleshooting.
  • Providing planned, scheduled, unscheduled, preventative, and reactive repairs as required to maximize up time and reliability of production equipment.
  • Operating various company vehicles, including forklifts, man lifts, overhead cranes, etc., and obtain proper training.
  • Conducting other projects, duties, and assignments as needed and assigned by the Maintenance Manager or management.
