Maintenance Technician - Evening Shift - Full Time

About The Position

Join our team at Hueston Woods Lodge & Conference Center as a Maintenance Technician on the evening shift. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities, performing routine maintenance and repairs, and responding promptly to maintenance requests. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality and comfort of our property for guests and staff alike.

Requirements

Prior experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field preferred.
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently during the evening shift.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Physical ability to perform manual labor and operate maintenance equipment.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and effective manner during the evening shift.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Assist with set-ups and repairs related to events and conference activities.
Collaborate with other departments to support operations as needed.
Maintain the grounds around lodge and cabins.
Handle general room calls (TV's, lights, plumbing, heating/cooling, etc.).
Test and maintain pools.
Assist guests and visitors on a daily basis.
