About The Position

TCCI is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to support our maintenance team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining production machinery and plant facilities while taking a lead role in project-based work. This position will manage and execute improvement projects, equipment upgrades, and facility enhancements to support operational efficiency and compliance. The role requires strong technical skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the Plant Manager on project planning and execution.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience; 5 years preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic email communication; ability to learn project tracking tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CNC machines, air compressors, HVAC systems, and material handling equipment.
  • Ability to make minor G&M code adjustments.
  • Strong communication skills for reporting and project coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance and facility improvement projects from start to finish.
  • Work directly with the Plant Manager to define project scope, timelines, and resource needs.
  • Document project progress and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Install, set up, modify, and repair production machinery and support equipment.
  • Maintain plant building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
  • Operate and maintain CNC coolant systems, solvent stills, and air pollution control equipment in compliance with EPA and OSHA standards.
  • Develop and perform routine preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records for inspections, compliance, and project documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Operate metal fabrication equipment and perform basic welding and carpentry tasks.
  • Read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints.
  • Ensure all work meets regulatory standards for environmental and workplace safety.
  • Support housekeeping and maintain a safe work environment.
