JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Tech I position is designed to for someone with a broad range of skills that the refine over time to install, troubleshoot, repair or decommission a large range of CNC, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment.

Requirements

Ability to grasp, manipulate or assemble objects.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Capability of working from verbal instructions.
Engage in a team environment to resolve issues.
Show initiative and have the ability to work independently on primary responsibilities.
Knowledge of or ability to learn the use of calipers, micrometers and load test equipment.
Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to use power tools/hand tools.
Ability to read/understand blue prints and wiring schematics (training provided).
OSHA10 preferred, training provided if needed.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to lift/move and/or push/pull up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand and/or walk 8+ hours per day
Use of one or both hands grasp, move, or assemble objects

Responsibilities

CNC machine troubleshooting (electrical, mechanical, & hydraulic), not programming or computers other than testing standard connectors, etc.
Electrical wiring
Drive + Servo troubleshooting
Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Basic HVAC troubleshoot/repair
Piping
Rigging
Welding + Steel Fabricating
Machinery installation and/or modification
Design & creation of various fixtures and/or jigs used in production or quality department
Grind room equipment maintenance & wheel replacement
Perform preventative maintenance on machines and ovens per P.M. schedule.
Other tasks as requested
