At our Womelsdorf location we are looking for a First Shift - Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with both, plant equipment and material handling equipment. Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining a work-life balance with a 40-to-50-hour workweek, including few Saturdays and no Sunday work. Competitive wages based on experience. Being part of a cross-functional team, working with manufacturing and warehouse associates to improve equipment availability and performance. Completing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks. Working on both plant and material handling equipment. Handling mechanical and electrical systems. Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in plant maintenance, with material handling equipment experience being a plus.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma (or GED/high school certification); a technical school certification is a plus.
  • Basic mechanical and electrical skills.
  • The ability to work from equipment manuals and verbal instructions.
  • The ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • A dependable, self-motivated attitude, willing to learn and grow with the team and company.
  • The ability to stand and walk throughout the day and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing is a plus but not required.
  • material handling equipment experience being a plus.
  • a technical school certification is a plus.
