Responsibilities Maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment that includes mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems Diagnosis and repair electrical issues with the building's electricity Perform routine maintenance on all rolling equipment and overhead cranes Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop Maintain service, preventive maintenance and repair documentation on all equipment Fix potential safety hazards Apply preventative measures to reduce the risk of equipment failures Operate and service heavy equipment Operate forklift to move equipment/machinery Qualifications Preferred Qualifications and Skills Prior experience as a maintenance technician or similar role High School diploma Ability to read and understand blueprints, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic prints Proficient in using hand, power and diagnostic tools Proficient understanding of combustion engines Basic understanding and ability to weld Ability to coordinate multiple job effectives, and to handle detailed and broad range projects Ability to meet deadlines and be detail oriented Ability to work with minimal supervision and to work flexible hours. (M-F, Weekends, Holidays) Ability to work independently and as a team Ability to communicate effectively (read, write, comprehension) and follow complicated verbal and/or written instructions Ability to lift and move items weighting up to 50 lbs. Physical ability to climb ladders, stairs, and work at heights Certifications in maintenance fields are a plus Microsoft Office proficiency is a plus Welding experience or certification
