The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs in residential apartments. Including troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining apartment systems, appliances and facilities. Routine Maintenance & Repairs General repairs in apartments, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and appliance issues. Plumbing: Leaky faucets Running toilets Installation of toilets/supply lines Installation of faucets Clogged drains Unclogging resetting garbage disposals. Minor leaks Electrical: Replacing light bulbs and fuses/circuit breakers. Installation/repairing of minor electrical outlets including GFCi Appliances: Minor appliance repairs such as installing elements. Installation of appliances. Installation of water heaters HVAC: Installation of thermostats. Installation of filters. Must be certified to work with refrigerant. Other: Minor drywall repair of holes. Fabrication of window screens/installation of window screens. Adjusting doors and windows for proper fit. Installation of doors. Installation of door handles.
