Trinity Place is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. Your primary duties will include performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing equipment, and responding promptly to emergencies. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • At least 5 years of maintenance or related experience is necessary.
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in the following areas: Working with electricity and electrical circuits (AC/DC, up to 480 VAC)
  • HVAC systems, including experience with chillers, boilers, gas heating, and heat pumps
  • Plumbing, piping, fire sprinkler systems, soldering, and pipe threading
  • Carpentry, including framing, trim work, and design
  • TV/telephone systems, cable and wire splicing, and troubleshooting
  • Painting, drywall, plaster repair, and use of paint equipment
  • Reading blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Understanding building codes, structures, and safety regulations
  • Working with gasoline and diesel engines, minor auto repair, and generator equipment
  • Using power tools and safety equipment effectively
  • Demonstrate patience and professionalism when working with staff and residents.
  • Valid North Carolina driver’s license
  • Certified Pool Technician, or willingness to obtain certification
  • Ability to move throughout all facility locations, including bending, stooping, and reaching overhead
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Willingness to work unpredictable hours and be exposed to chemicals, waste, and varying conditions

Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment and building systems to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and repair swimming pool and sauna tub systems, ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations.
  • Communicate and interact professionally with staff, residents, vendors, and regulatory personnel to foster a positive environment and ensure clear information exchange.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor and Director to support the overall needs of the facility.
