About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for safely maintaining production equipment, completing scheduled preventive maintenance, and assisting with the configuration and setup of production molds. This role requires experience in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic troubleshooting, and mechanical repair. Injection molding setup, processing, and technical troubleshooting experience is a significant plus.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on Injection Mold Maintenance experience
• 5+ years of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with: Hydraulics, pumps, air compressors, motors, chillers, valves
• Troubleshooting electrical issues and PLC knowledge
• Ability to operate both stand-up and sit-down forklifts
• Ability to follow directions, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced, high-change environment with limited supervision
• Strong attention to detail, prioritization, and follow-up skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Positive, cooperative attitude, even under deadlines
• Driver’s license required
• Self-starter with the ability to rely on experience and judgment to meet goals
• Machine Maintenance: 4 years (Required)
• Injection Mold Machine Maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of mold setting concepts, practices, and procedures (strongly preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform timely repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machinery
• Complete cleaning, preservation, and storage of production molds
• Conduct tool and mold maintenance, including mold changes
• Configure production molds safely and efficiently
• Perform setups, startups, and changeovers
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks on schedule
• Maintain safe working conditions and follow all safety procedures
• Promote positive working relationships across departments
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Perform other duties as assigned
