The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the effective operation, repair and changeovers of production equipment. The role also works with others to achieve factory business objectives of safety, equipment reliability, productivity, customer service, quality, cost and environmental protection. The primary accountabilities of the role include safety compliance, attaining high equipment reliability and uptime, equipment maintenance procedures, data collection, housekeeping, problem solving and continuous improvement as part of a work team. The primary accountabilities of the role include troubleshoot, repair, and preventative maintenance as required to ensure equipment reliability; assist with root cause analysis to identify reasons for failures and breakdowns; review electrical and pneumatic schematics during troubleshooting, repair and project work; and will work closely with the operators to support production and transfer skills to Operation Technicians.
