About The Position

Urban Self Storage is looking for a dedicated full-time Maintenance Technician to join our growing team! This role ensures our locations are operating at a high standard by doing both maintenance and repairs across multiple facilities. This Full-Time position works Monday through Friday.

Requirements

Experience in broad maintenance work
Regular use of power tools
Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders & the ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing & carpentry work
Skilled painter with an ability to install rubber base
Knowledge of basic computer functions & mobile applications
Positive energy with a customer focused attitude & approach
Strong attention to detail & problem-solving skills
Excellent communication & teamwork abilities
Valid driver's license & personal vehicle

Nice To Haves

General skills to replace lock systems & door hardware
Ability to performance routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting roofs & cleaning gutters

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance tasks at multiple office and self storage locations (Seattle, WA.)
Conduct repairs & upkeep of small office spaces
Ensure the property is safe & well-maintained following assigned work orders
Daily janitorial tasks such as property clean-up and trash service
Respond promptly to maintenance requests & emergencies
Assist in maintaining accurate maintenance records & inventory management
Report daily with progress & pending tasks to onsite Store Manager
