Full Job Summary:  The Maintenance Technician ensures Uptown Rental Properties’ units meet industry-leading standards through timely work order completion and exceptional resident service. Success hinges on customer focus, goal achievement, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year in make-ready, maintenance, or similar field
  • Comfort with hand tools and moderate-to-heavy physical demands (lift 50-100+ lbs, climb ladders, stand 90% of workday)
  • Self-starter with problem-solving skills and a team-player attitude

Responsibilities

  • Complete tasks like electrical, plumbing, and painting to high standards in a timely, cost-conscious manner
  • Keep residents and team informed on progress, coordinating with vendors when needed
  • Respond to emergencies during scheduled after-hours shifts (one week/month)
