About The Position

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician (official title: Maintenance Assistant II) to join our team at Arboretum Village , located at 8141 Farnam Drive, Omaha, NE 68114 . Arboretum Village is home to 145 independent living apartment homes, offering a welcoming environment that feels like traditional apartment living. Schedule & On-Call Details: Regular Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (flexible start and end times) On-Call Rotation: Approximately one week per month On-call period runs Monday at 8:00 AM through Sunday evening Handoff occurs Monday mornings at 8:00 AM Pay: Based on experience, certifications, skills, and education. Job Duties & Skills Required What You Will Do The overall purpose of this job is to complete interior and exterior carpentry work and maintain utilities for the facility. The responsibilities of this job include maintaining HVAC, heat pumps, furnaces, plumbing, and electrical functionality, record keeping, hanging dry wall, and clearing snow from walkways. Skills & Requirements High School Diploma/GED is required. HVAC Trade or Vocational Schooling is preferred. Two (2) years of facilities maintenance experience is required. Requirements
