Our Lakeland, FL location is part of our beverage division and specializes in distillation and flavor products for Kerry customers and brands. We are looking for someone to help us keep things running! We have an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician. The schedule for this role is Monday - Friday 630AM - 300PM! You’ll work with the Maintenance team to complete building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting and installation, fulfillment of assigned work orders and unforeseen repairs in a timely fashion. You’ll follow good manufacturing practices to maintain inventory, preventative maintenance, good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations. Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years or more of maintenance experience working in a manufacturing environment; food/beverage experience highly preferred
  • High school diploma or GED is required; college degree preferred
  • Must be knowledgeable in operating and maintaining air compressors and air dryers.
  • Must be able to install production equipment.
  • Must be knowledgeable in the operating principles of steam, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and able to troubleshoot and repair their mechanical components.
  • Must be able to read piping diagrams and identify the function of various components for air and water distributions systems.
  • Must be able to perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs.

Nice To Haves

  • PLC experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and lubricate shafts, bearing, gears, and other parts of machinery
  • Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic steam, pneumatic equipment
  • Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and other related equipment
  • Building maintenance including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep
