About The Position

Arnold Grounds is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for multifamily community located in Columbus, Ohio As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our residents. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the physical aspects of our properties to meet safety and comfort standards. Your hands-on approach and commitment to affordable housing will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in general maintenance and repair work.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with residents and colleagues professionally.
Attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and resolve issues efficiently.
Conduct property inspections and identify areas requiring maintenance or repair.
Ensure that common areas and grounds are clean and well-maintained.
Assist in the preparation of vacant units for new residents.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and inventory of supplies.
Support the property management team in day-to-day operations.
