About The Position

Join us as we grow! Our new Randolph, MN location is set to open its doors in early May 2026, and we are beginning the hiring process now. We will be reviewing applications and interviewing on a rolling basis, allowing us to adjust start dates to fit your schedule and business needs. To get you started on the right foot, this position may require in-person training period at our Le Sueur, MN facility. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing our local operations, blending technical skill with a proactive mindset to ensure our new facility remains cutting-edge and efficient. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results while adhering to industry best practices and Cambria’s high standards of excellence. This position is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the raw material quartz processing facility. This role involves troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting with the installation and repair of various systems and equipment.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial automation, preferably in a mining, processing, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and human-machine interfaces (HMIs).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, control diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing automated systems and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of industrial sensors, actuators, and control devices.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to automation systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer proficiency for programming and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks on processing equipment, including crushers, screens, conveyors, mills, and other machinery, according to established schedules and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and system failures, and perform corrective maintenance and repairs in a timely and effective manner.
  • Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment, including loaders, trucks, and rail equipment.
  • Inspect equipment for defects, wear, and damage, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment, to perform maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment inspections, and repairs.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
  • Assist in the management of spare parts inventory, ensuring that critical parts are readily available.
  • Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and emergency response drills.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance and Automation Manager.
