Broad knowledge of mechanical systems and electrical services and capable of working from machine design drawings, specifications and maintenance instructions including electrical schematics. Assists Team Leader with projects, predictive maintenance, PM repair and general maintenance tasks specific to but not limited to electrical applications. May be required to order replacement parts. Inspect completed repairs. May be tasked to assist in facility maintenance and facility services including maintenance and repairs of plant, office, and other structures. Focus efforts to work towards optimal machine control’s function and output, with the highest product quality. May be required to order replacement parts. Inspect completed repairs. Responsible for facility maintenance and services including maintenance and repairs of plant, office, and other structures, water, compressed air, fuel, HVAC and other systems related to the facility to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life. Ensures that maintenance department objectives are met including project, cost, quality and safety factors. Responsible for the safety and training of others. Responsible for compliance with all documented procedures and employee handbook. Responsible for creating and maintaining a working team environment. Responsible for maintaining good housekeeping. Responsible for safety, quality, and production with limited supervision. Respond to facility-related emergencies at any time, including fire alarms or security system alerts. Diagnose and correct malfunctions in equipment or systems to ensure maximum performance. Create and execute work orders, tracking work performed, and maintaining logs and reports. Adhere to safety procedures, use PPE, and ensure all work complies with regulations.
