Join Our Team as a full-time Maintenance Technician at Richman Property Services, Inc. in Bridgeport, CT! Richman Property Services, Inc. (RPS) is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team. They are looking for a community-inspired, passion-driven individual with a can-do attitude. The position is for Maintenance Technician 1 at Crescent Crossing, a 264-unit affordable residential community in Bridgeport, CT 06608. Requirements

  • Two or more years of maintenance operations experience in multi-family residential communities
  • EPA I & II or EPA Universal is required for this position (sponsorship may be available)
  • Experience with Yardi property management software products
  • Valid/Active driver's license is required (and verified) for this position
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper experience
  • Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
  • Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
  • Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
  • Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
  • Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
  • Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
  • Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service

  • Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
  • Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
  • Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime
