About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our residential team in Shaker Height, OH. This role is essential in ensuring the maintenance and overall functionality of our multi-family apartment communities. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a variety of maintenance areas and will be committed to delivering excellent service to our residents.

Requirements

Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on maintenance experience, preferably in a multifamily housing environment.
General knowledge of all aspects of property maintenance.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying environmental conditions.
Valid Driver’s License
Reliable transportation
Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
Availability to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed for emergencies

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
Complete work orders and respond to resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
Assist with unit turnovers to ensure vacant apartments are rent-ready.
Perform preventive maintenance to preserve the condition of the property and its equipment.
Maintain all tools and maintenance equipment in safe working condition.
Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of common areas, including painting and general repairs as needed.
Coordinate with vendors and property management staff as required.
Follow all company safety procedures and protocols.
