About The Position

Seeking several skilled maintenance workers at least 18 years of age who have experience in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC systems and general maintenance skills. Including but not limited to drywall repair, drywall hanging and painting experience necessary. Applicants will be cleaning, changing fixtures, outlets, blinds, locks, doors, windows and any other repairs necessary to get the units rent ready. Duties may also include mowing, trimming and edging the lawns; trimming bushes and trees; raking and cleaning up leaves; cleaning gutters; and snow removal. Previous maintenance experience and basic tools are a must and a valid driver’s license is preferred. Applicants must be willing to work both individually and as part of the team. Possibility of being on the after hours on call team a week at a time during a multi week rotation. Good work ethic and communication skills are required. Applicants must pass a drug test, physical and background check.

Our skilled maintenance workers (maintenance Tech 2's) are set in to repair on demand work orders - leaks in bathrooms, kitchens and walls as well as any subsequent drywall, ceiling or flooring repairs, broken window and doors, kicked in entry doors, fire damages, etc.

On unit turns maintenance techs will pull old carpet, clean and paint to almost complete remodels. There are 137 separate buildings and 471 units.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Experience in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC systems and general maintenance skills
• Drywall repair, drywall hanging and painting experience
• Previous maintenance experience
• Basic tools
• Good work ethic
• Communication skills
• Pass a drug test, physical and background check
• Willing to work both individually and as part of the team
