About The Position

The Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift supports a fast‑paced manufacturing environment by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems. This role is ideal for hands‑on technicians from parallel industries such as automotive service, trucking or fleet maintenance, industrial equipment repair, or related mechanical and electrical fields. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; trade school or technical training preferred
  • One (1) to two (2) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or related technical setting required
  • Basic understanding of industrial, automotive, or mechanical equipment maintenance
  • Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic aptitude with the ability to learn and apply skills on the job
  • Ability to read basic blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Ability to work independently on 2nd shift with minimal supervision
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and think on your feet
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work at heights as required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in automotive repair, fleet or trucking maintenance, or industrial equipment repair strongly encouraged
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain
  • Exposure to hydraulic and pneumatic systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
  • Support production by responding to machine alarms and downtime events
  • Maintain auxiliary equipment including dryers, chillers, robots, conveyors, and material handling systems
  • Monitor and maintain plant water and cooling systems
  • Complete accurate maintenance documentation and shift handover communication
  • Support continuous improvement and cost‑savings initiatives
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and PPE requirements
