About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join the PTMW team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair both electrical and mechanical systems. This role requires working on a variety of industrial equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime in our operations.This is a full-time, benefits eligible position, working Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. This position may require additional hours (overtime) to meet demand as needed.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in industrial maintenance
  • Mechanical experience with the ability to work on both electrical and combustion motors.
  • Proficiency in operating industrial equipment and understanding of equipment safety protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of 480V 3-phase electrical systems.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
  • Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding.
  • Certification in industrial maintenance or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of industrial equipment, including electrical and combustion motors.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, with a strong emphasis on 480V 3-phase systems.
  • Conduct mechanical maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure efficient operation.
  • Diagnose malfunctions and determine the best course of action for repairs.
  • Work with PLC systems, motor controls, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
  • Operate industrial equipment safely, including forklifts, scissor lifts, and other maintenance tools.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with company safety standards.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving equipment efficiency and reliability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or as appropriate.
