About The Position

Mission Linen Supply is seeking an experienced, hard-working, motivated, and energetic Maintenance Technician. This in-plant position involves repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers. The role also includes performing preventive maintenance, welding, boiler chemical testing, making chemistry adjustments, resolving safety concerns, and preparing maintenance records. Requirements

• Strong technical knowledge in industry equipment
• Ability to work with varied mechanical/electrical systems
• Strong leadership skills
• High school diploma
• Minimum of two years of maintenance engineering experience
• Specific knowledge of machinery, electricity, electronics, and plumbing, welding, and boiler applications
• Experience with mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics and reading repair manuals & schematics

Responsibilities

• Repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment, such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers
• Performing preventive maintenance that includes welding, boiler chemical testing and making necessary chemistry adjustments, resolving safety concerns, and preparing maintenance records
• Responsible for routine preventive maintenance on the property to ensure that plant machines continue to run smoothly
• Responsible for morning start-up and evening shutdown of equipment including the boiler, air compressor, power, pumps, and valves
• Handling regular maintenance of lint traps, shaker screen barrels, oil levels, grease fittings, and water levels
• Responsible for completing all general and basic repairs on the machinery
• Follow the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance schedule and document process
• Identify and report all other major repairs that need to be completed on the machinery
