About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Full time Maintenance technician to join our team. This position is Monday through Friday dayshift hours. The start pay for this position is $18.00 with and additional $0.25 per year of experience with a cap of 15 years. Job Position: The overall purpose of the Maintenance Tech is to help maintain the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by your supervisor to assure that a successful maintenance program is maintained at all times. The Maintenance tech will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and improvement of our Duplex's, Assisted living, independent living apartments and Health Care facilities. Additional Christian Care Retirement community is a non-profit, faith-based organization. Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • Must be available to be "on-call" Once a month
  • Must be available to be "on-call" for holiday Rotation
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
  • Must function independently, have work flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively and harmoniously with residents, family members, and co-workers in a person-centered care environment.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to communicate with Maintenance personnel and other department personnel

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc.
  • Perform routine Maintenance and repairs on the facility and equipment to include but not limited to plumping, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc.
