Our fast-growing property management company is looking for qualified Apartment Maintenance Technicians in the following areas: Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician will provide maintenance services to properties that will be assigned to them. The technician is part of a large team that is assigned work specified in daily work orders assigned by their supervisor. As a technician, this individual is always required to maintain professionalism and follow company policies. Specific duties may vary depending upon assignment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) with two years related experience performing gardening or grounds keeping work.
Ability to operate hand tools and equipment used in grounds keeping such as lawnmower, weed eater, shears, trimmer, etc.
Ability to follow detailed oral/written instructions.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
Ability to operate various hand and power tools.
Deal effectively with co-workers and the public.
Walk, stand, and kneel for prolonged periods, climb a ladder.
Moderate travel for this position requires you to have reliable transportation and the expectation to work onsite is 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, glass replacement, etc.
Responsible for timely completion of all phases of apartment make-ready work, troubleshooting and repair of most major and minor mechanical systems.
Responsible for unsupervised, timely completion of occupied apartment service requests in accordance with predefined company and property standards.
Responsible for all aspects of maintenance of the property, including resident satisfaction and contribution to property occupancy goals.
Participate in preventive maintenance programs and on-going maintenance and repair of all mechanical systems of the property, to preserve and maintain the asset.
When called upon, perform groundskeeper responsibilities.
Follows all applicable safety rules and regulations.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge.
Contributes to team effort.
Assist with other duties assigned.
