About The Position

ITU AbsorbTech is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Neenah, WI. The company, founded in 1908 and based in New Berlin, WI, is one of the oldest family-owned industrial laundries in the United States. With 15 facilities across the eastern US, ITU AbsorbTech provides reusable uniforms, mops, towels, and mats to thousands of manufacturers. Since the mid-1990s, the company has also been a leader in environmental services, offering launderable absorbents and recovering over 200,000 gallons of oil and solvents annually from used products. This role involves repairing and maintaining industrial laundry machinery, working with various electrical and mechanical systems, troubleshooting devices, and performing general maintenance operations.

Requirements

A valid driver's license and the ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
Associate’s degree (or current enrollment in a technical school) in Facilities Maintenance (or similar) and 1-3 years’ related experience in maintenance or mechanical repair; or equivalent in related experience
Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and have a positive attitude

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain industrial laundry machinery
Work with electrical, boilers, pumps, compressors, hydraulics, and other production machines and equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical devices
Work from blueprints, electrical schematics, operational manuals, and manufacturer's specification
Perform general maintenance operations
