About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and general facility systems. The ideal candidate brings a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for minimizing downtime while supporting a safe, efficient production environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Technical diploma or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field preferred.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or injection molding environment.
Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, mechanical repair, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
Experience with CMMS platforms (eMaint experience a plus).
Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and mechanical drawings.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical tasks such as standing, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
Strong mechanical aptitude with effective problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Self-motivated and capable of managing tasks independently.
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and practices.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.

Nice To Haves

Basic understanding of PLCs and electrical control systems (preferred).

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment using our eMaint system.
Dismantle, inspect, repair, and reassemble machinery with minimal supervision.
Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and basic electrical systems.
Maintain a clean, organized Maintenance Shop; ensure tools are calibrated and stored correctly.
Collaborate with the Tool Room / Maintenance Manager to resolve technical issues and drive improvements.
Monitor spare parts inventory and report low stock levels.
Assist with training new maintenance team members and machine operators.
Follow all OSHA safety rules, wear PPE, and practice lockout/tagout procedures.
Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance logs in eMaint.
Identify and report unsafe conditions or malfunctioning equipment.
Keep work areas clean and organized in line with 5S/housekeeping standards.
Support other departments with maintenance needs as necessary.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.
Willingness to work overtime or alternate shifts when needed.
