About The Position

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN POSITION DESCRIPTION Responsibilities: Performs routine maintenance of facility and equipment to include, but is not limited to: Routine maintenance of building and plant Must be able to work well with a team Must be able self motivated Preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment Repairing broken or leaking plumbing Work on electrical wiring Maintain HVAC equipment Identify potential safety hazards. Painting, repairing, building, or applying materials to building surfaces. Respond immediately in the event of an emergency following safety protocol. Operate emergency alarm system (as required) Use an online work order system. Operate complex equipment (as required)

Requirements

Experience with high voltage set up and install
Experience with PLC controller set up and install
Advanced understanding of electrical
Have knowledge of variable frequency drive system install and programming
Basic understanding of HVAC, Hydraulics
Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician (preferably in food manufacturing)
Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds.
Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods
Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including small hand tools and other equipment.
Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to Commute: Hughes Springs, TX 75656 (Required)
Ability to Relocate: Hughes Springs, TX 75656: Relocate before starting work (Required)
