Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing maintenance role required, with a solid understanding of machinery and equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage tasks efficiently.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and work at heights.
  • Ability to pass forklift certification (post-hire).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Must be able to read and interpret complex technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
  • Must have a valid Utah driver's license.
  • Relevant technical certifications or documented training in maintenance functions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, and electronics is highly desired.
  • Proven experience with control systems and CMMS software.
  • Maintenance proficiency test may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues with equipment and machinery to minimize downtime.
  • Keep detailed records of all work performed and communicate effectively with production teams and supervisors.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and contribute to the 5S program across the plant.
  • Work with area Team Leaders to resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Provide feedback and ideas for continuous improvement in processes, safety, and maintenance efficiency.
