About The Position

The Maintenance Technician has the key responsibility to maintain the safety, cleanliness, and overall condition of the facility, ensuring a healthy environment that allows staff to focus on providing high-quality services to students and families.

Requirements

• Able to walk, carry equipment, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform medium physical work in various postures.
• Indoor and outdoor work with exposure to cleaning chemicals and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Report facility issues promptly.
• Store cleaning and repair materials safely.
• Perform routine cleaning and minor repairs.
• Handle deliveries and outdoor upkeep.
• Remove snow and ice during winter.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and classrooms, refill supplies.
• Sweep, mop, and empty trash in all areas.
• Sweep outdoor walkways, playgrounds, and entrances.
• Wipe down surfaces and disinfect high-touch areas.
• Buff floors periodically and clean behind furniture.
• Participate in facility assessments with the Facility Director.
• Clean and inspect outdoor play structures and safety surfaces.
• Perform minor repairs, handle deliveries, and clear snow as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
