About The Position

First shift! We are seeking a Maintenance Technician (Entry Level) to assist with day-to-day maintenance activities that support safe and efficient plant operations. This position is ideal for someone looking to grow their skills in industrial maintenance through hands-on experience, training, and teamwork. The Maintenance Technician will assist with basic repairs, preventive maintenance, and facility upkeep while learning more advanced troubleshooting skills on the job.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
0–2 years of maintenance or mechanical experience preferred (training provided)
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn industrial maintenance skills
Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools safely
Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical systems is a plus, but not required
Ability to follow written, verbal, and visual instructions
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Willingness to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

Assist with preventive maintenance and basic repairs on production equipment and facility systems
Perform routine inspections and report equipment or facility issues to senior maintenance staff
Help troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues under guidance
Complete basic maintenance tasks such as part replacements, lubrication, adjustments, and clean-up
Accurately record maintenance work in the maintenance tracking system
Support basic facility maintenance including lighting, minor plumbing, and general repairs
Follow OSHA guidelines, safety procedures, and company policies at all times
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members
Perform other duties as assigned
