Maintenance Technician (1st Shift)

Easton shafts are used by more bowhunters, crossbowmen, 3D competitors, target shooters and Olympic archers than all other brands combined. Our Salt Lake facility is adding a Maintenance Technician to our team on 1st shift. JOB SUMMARY This critical role will be responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining production equipment in a team environment. Some of the key responsibilities include: Reading and understanding engineering prints and schematics Diagnosing mechanical issues Dismantling and repairing machines Replacing defective parts Performing preventive maintenance tasks Collaborate with outside contractors as needed Perform other duties as assigned by management EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School Diploma of Equivalent; post-secondary training or coursework is preferred 2+ years of previous experience as a manufacturing maintenance technician
Requirements
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Above average mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50lbs
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, subject to noise and extreme temperatures
- High School Diploma of Equivalent
- 2+ years of previous experience as a manufacturing maintenance technician
