About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician at Impulse, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility infrastructure, production equipment, and support systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This hourly role supports manufacturing, test, and launch-related activities in a mission-critical environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
2+ years of experience in industrial, facilities, or equipment maintenance
Working knowledge of mechanical systems; basic electrical troubleshooting preferred
Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work overtime, off-shifts, or weekends as needed

Nice To Haves

Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, automotive, or high-tech environments
Knowledge of PLCs, automation systems, or industrial controls
HVAC, electrical, or maintenance-related certifications
Experience working in cleanrooms or controlled environments
Familiarity with CMMS systems

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems, equipment, and tools
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Repair and maintain production equipment, HVAC systems, utilities, and building infrastructure
Respond to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns in a timely manner
Perform inspections to identify wear, damage, or potential failures
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation
Follow safety procedures, lockout/tagout practices, and company policies
Support equipment installations, upgrades, and facility modifications
Coordinate with engineers, operators, and external contractors as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
