About The Position

Performs maintenance and repair services on production machines according to the maintenance plan or on request of production. This position may cover electrical, mechanical, civil and/or other specialties but is supported by Maintenance engineers, supervisors or outside contractors as needed.

Requirements

• Requires experience with the specific production process
• Uses all shop machinery and hand tools
• Root cause analysis is required, as well as interpretation/ adjustments to existing systems and processes

Responsibilities

• Utilizes hand tools and common shop machinery.
• Is involved in the installation and/or calibration of mechanical equipment and machinery, which may involve CNC equipment, hydraulics, electro-mechanical gears and other machinery.
• Is involved in the diagnoses of mechanical faults on production equipment and machinery.
• Registers all maintenance related activities into systems.
• May also be involved in the maintenance of buildings, production sites or other facilities.
• May assist the supervisor with the planning of (preventive) maintenance tasks but focus is still on execution
