Maintenance Technician
About The Position
Wesley Apartment Homes is seeking a highly skilled and reliable full time Maintenance Technician to join our team at Heron Mill; our brand-new, lease-up community located in Douglasville! Starting pay $23.50+ per hour (D.O.E) and potential for monthly bonus plus HUGE apartment discount! Requirements
- HVAC / EPA certification required
- A minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience at a multi-family property required
- Possess proven knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs, roofing repairs, and other general maintenance skills
- Possess strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and exhibits pride in quality of work
- Takes initiative and self-motivated to complete tasks at hand
- Must be available to work nights, holidays, and weekends, as scheduled for on-call service requests
- Knowledge of Federal, State and Local Fair Housing laws, OSHA, and EPA regulations
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required. Position requires individuals to furnish their own reliable transportation to fulfill the job’s functions
Responsibilities
- Respond to all maintenance service requests by tenants, including HVAC, plumbing, lectrical, and general maintenance
- Trouble-shoot, diagnose, and resolve issues
- Schedule and perform preventative maintenance tasks
- Always interact with tenants in a courteous and professional manner
- Assist the groundskeepers in maintaining the grounds in pristine condition
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more.
