What You'll Do As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring the property operates efficiently and meets high standards of quality and safety. Your day-to-day work will include: Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, boilers, and pool equipment Managing unit turnovers, completing work orders, and coordinating vendor services Performing routine maintenance, safety inspections, and preventative care Assisting with budget planning for maintenance and capital projects Responding to emergency repair requests and participating in the on-call rotation Supporting nearby Oakbrook properties when needed What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent service. You should be comfortable working independently and capable of handling both routine tasks and urgent repairs.

Requirements

  • Strong technical skills across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
  • Effective time management and task prioritization
  • Clear communication and customer service mindset
  • Safety-conscious and quality-driven
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Personal hand tools required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in property maintenance or a related field preferred
  • Familiarity with residential building systems
  • High school diploma or GED (trade certifications a plus)

Responsibilities
