Maintenance Technician – JLL What this job involves: Seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support operations at our Grove City, Ohio location. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play an essential role in ensuring equipment reliability and maintaining our production environment. This position requires a versatile skillset to handle various maintenance tasks, from equipment upkeep to warehouse improvements. You'll be the go-to expert for keeping our automated systems running smoothly, supporting production goals, and maintaining a safe, efficient facility that enables our client's success.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience with conveyors, case sealers, labelers, and printers
  • 2+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including night shift (Sunday-Thursday, 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM), weekends, and holidays
  • Physical capability to lift up to 49 pounds, perform repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, and standing/walking throughout shift
  • Ability to work in varying conditions including small spaces, dust, fumes, temperature fluctuations, noise, and concrete floors
  • Manual dexterity for eye/hand coordination, foot pedals, and precision tasks (picking, pinching, holding, grasping)

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience with automated conveyors, controls, and electrical wiring
  • 3+ years conducting preventative maintenance programs and reading blueprints/schematics
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • 3+ years of work order management and vendor coordination
  • Knowledge of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards per Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) requirements

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot conveyors, case sealers, labelers, and printers to ensure continuous production operations
  • Perform preventative maintenance on automated systems and Material Handling Equipment to minimize downtime
  • Manage work orders efficiently and coordinate with vendors when specialized support is required
  • Interpret blueprints and schematics for equipment maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements
  • Implement and enforce safety standards for all Material Handling Equipment in accordance with OEM requirements
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and adapt to changing priorities throughout the shift
  • Utilize various tools and equipment while working in diverse facility conditions to maintain operational excellence
