About The Position

Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Responsibilities Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service Must answer the radio call within 3 attempts(when a radio is assigned) To complete all guest related service requests within 30 minutes Complete all non-guest related work order requests as scheduled in a professional and timely manner, taking care to clean up completely after work is done and/or request Housekeeping support To assist with all duties in the Engineering Department including all aspect of mechanical repairs, electrical work and painting. Requirements

  • Previous Engineering experience in a large hotel preferred
  • Must work well without supervision
  • Previous experience in hotel operations including guest service experience an asset
  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
  • Must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend and stoop
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pound
  • Lifting and carrying
  • Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, sitting
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
