About The Position

A Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out appropriate maintenance work promptly and to the highest standards to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. Implement company statutory and legal requirements including fire, health and safety, hygiene, electricity at work, and all local by-laws Respond to all enquiries promptly Performing preventive and corrective maintenance throughout the hotel Carry out minor plumbing, electrical, and basic HVAC repairs, identifying and resolving technical issues, supporting the maintenance of guest rooms and common areas. Ensure good relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers Ensure energy conservation initiatives are implemented Attend additional training suitable to the role

Requirements

  • Positive, proactive, and solution‑oriented attitude, with the ability to manage general facility maintenance and handle day‑to-day repairs
  • Versatile and hands‑on profiles—practical individuals with a strong willingness to help, attention to detail, customer‑service orientation, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and electricity; a versatile and practical profile with initiative, a positive work attitude, and the ability to work independently
  • Good communication skills

  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Ability to work on their own or in teams
  • Full schedule flexibility is essential, including rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays according to the hotel’s operational needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in four‑ or five‑star hotels will be particularly valued, as well as knowledge of industrial refrigeration, cold rooms, and cooling equipment.
  • Skills in locksmithing or other trades related to hotel maintenance will also be taken into consideration.
