Requirements

Current active driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Reliable vehicle
Availability for variable shifts and on-call as scheduled
Effective communication skills
Timeliness
Attention to detail
Prioritization and time management with low degree of supervision needed to accomplish assigned tasks
Ability to maintain professional demeanor at all times

Responsibilities

Knowledge of compliance with all regulatory bodies surrounding Environment of Care and facility maintenance (TJC, Ohio Department of Health, OSHA)
Order, pick up, and deliver supplies to all locations
Work orders (moving things, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
Documentation of duties on logs, etc.
Checking of OR temperature, air exchange and humidity log
Monitoring & Maintaining of HVAC systems, Plumbing & Piping Systems, Electrical systems, Mechanical Systems, Medical Gas & Vacuum System.
Completion of rounds in all buildings
Salting of walk ways/snow removal, etc.
Participation in on call schedule for nights and weekends as assigned
Oxygen manifold testing (PM)
Penthouse/maintenance rooms walk-throughs
Emergency maintenance response in a timely manner
Tank room liquid oxygen checks
Response to fire system alarms
Response to codes and assistance with drills
Response to alarm panel/line pressure alarms
Other duties as assigned
