The primary role of a Maintenance Technician involves maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting building systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation, performing routine inspections, preventive tasks, and emergency fixes for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues, and documenting all work to prevent downtime and uphold operational standards. In this position, you will need to use hand/power tools, diagnose faults, replace parts, and may specialize in areas like production machinery or facilities upkeep including the tunnels, vacuum lots and other requirements as needed. Key Responsibilities Repairs & Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems; repairing or replacing defective parts. Preventive Maintenance: Conducting routine checks, servicing equipment, and performing scheduled upkeep to prevent breakdowns. System Management: Monitoring and maintaining HVAC, electrical, and other building systems. Inspections: Regularly inspecting equipment and facilities to ensure safety and code compliance. Documentation: Keeping detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs. Emergency Response: Promptly responding to urgent maintenance requests. Inventory: Managing spare parts and tools.
