About The Position
Mile High Flea Market, Denver’s oldest and favorite flea market for over 40 years, is looking for a professional, reliable, and hardworking Maintenance Technician to join our construction and facilities team. In this role, you’ll help maintain and improve the overall appearance and functionality of the market, from painting and repairs to light carpentry and general upkeep. Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid Colorado Driver’s License required
- Minimum 4 years of work experience (maintenance or related field preferred)
- Experience with tools, equipment, and basic repair work
- Ability to problem-solve and work independently
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to take direction and constructive feedback
- Strong communication skills and team mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
- Able to perform physical, hands-on tasks throughout the shift
Responsibilities
- Perform painting, patching, and general upkeep across the property
- Maintain buildings, food stands, seller spaces, offices, warehouses, rides, and fencing
- Complete light carpentry and basic repair work
- Assist with maintenance of carts, wagons, and equipment
- Support special events and operational needs
- Assist with snow removal and general cleanup as needed
- Operate golf carts and company vehicles safely
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
