About The Position

AmeriLux Family of Companies (AFoC) is hiring! We are looking for a dedicated and driven team member to provide crucial support for our manufactuing and production team. In this role, you will maintain and improve production equipment by diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and supporting new equipment installations. This position works closely with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to maximize uptime, improve efficiency, and maintain high product quality standards.

Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude- rebuild gears, alignment plates, fixtures and forming equipment.
  • Low Voltage wiring - installation and trouble shooting.
  • Ability and understanding of three phase circuits and motor control circuits.
  • Basic understanding of industrial controls (contactors, relays etc.)
  • Basic understanding of pneumatic systems
  • Simple machining and layout
  • Various mechanical and light electrical repairs
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent Customer service and communication
  • Able to work alone or in teams
  • Able to plan and execute projects small to large
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and machine documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues using diagnostic tools and implement corrective actions.
  • Support equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioning of new machinery.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and performance data.
  • Provide technical support and training to operators and team members.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Communicate with production, engineering, and external partners to resolve equipment issues efficiently.
