About The Position

As our Maintenance Technician, you will provide overall maintenance support for our plant operations/equipment. This is a full GMP compliant, food and beverage plant producing bag-in-box syrups. Resolves day-to-day technical problems on the production lines and ensures machinery compliance with production procedures and process specifications. Performs skilled maintenance and repair services of production plant systems such as mechanical, electrical and pneumatic production line systems. Ensuring tasks are completed in a safe manner to ensure achievement of Quality, Service, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Cost Objectives. Utilizes computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track all work.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or GED equivalent; Associates or technical degree is preferred.
  • Must be able to achieve a passing score at the tech 1 level of the Maintenance Technician Entry test.
  • 3 - 5 years' experience in manufacturing maintenance with prior diagnostic, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance experience are needed.
  • Mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, lubrication, and fabrication experience are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or technical degree is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) is preferred.
  • Prior welding experience is preferred.
