Requirements

  • At least 18 years old with a high school diploma/GED
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • At least 1 year of facility maintenance experience.
  • This position requires the ability to read and follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and product labels.
  • Ability to relate to, welcome, and communicate with diverse groups of people regardless of age, race, economic status, religion, or cultural differences.
  • Have a good mechanical aptitude, a focus on safety, good communication skills, and be comfortable working independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Equipment repairs
  • Hanging/removing signage
  • Snow removal
  • Weed killing
  • Preventive maintenance tasks (grease bearings, replace belts, clean parts, etc.)
  • Minor plumbing, electrical, and construction
  • Record keeping
  • Some clerical tasks
  • Setup/teardown for classes/events
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment both within and around the facility.
