Maintenance Technician- 3rd Shift
About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment. This role is responsible for installing new machinery, performing routine preventative maintenance, responding to equipment breakdowns, and supporting equipment upgrades. The Maintenance Technician may also assist with removing outdated equipment and training staff on proper operating procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while minimizing equipment downtime. Schedule 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM Sunday – Thursday Overtime or occasional Saturday work may be required based on operational needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proven experience as a Mechanical and/or Electrical Maintenance Technician
- Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of equipment safety procedures and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn

- Experience working with printing or packaging machinery
Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair production equipment
- Follow preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and coordinate repair or replacement of faulty equipment
- Respond to equipment breakdowns in a timely and safe manner
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment malfunctions
- Assist with removal, installation, and setup of new or upgraded equipment
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts, and repairs
- Provide technical support and basic training to staff on proper equipment operation
- Ensure compliance with all company safety, quality, and performance standards
