Taylor Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our Bloomington, IL facility. This role is responsible for the maintenance and repair of digital and commercial print equipment, diagnosing equipment issues, assisting with machine installations, and performing preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
  • Experience working with motors, pumps, electrical drives, and hydraulics
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
  • Frequently required to move throughout the facility
  • Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent interaction with production and maintenance equipment
  • Willingness to work weekends as needed and be on call every other weekend is required

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot electronic and electrical issues, including motor drives
  • Assist operators with complex equipment setups
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all types of production equipment
  • Perform emergency repairs as needed to minimize downtime
  • Assemble and install new equipment
  • Complete daily maintenance logs and maintain accurate records
  • Modify existing equipment to improve reliability and production efficiency
  • Create requisitions for equipment and replacement parts
  • Provide technical support across all areas of the facility
  • Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers
