LAND O’ FROST IS HIRING IMMEDIATELY FOR 2nd SHIFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS MONDAY – FRIDAY 2:00PM – 10:30PM STARTING PAY IS $26.70/HOUR (+$.80/HOUR SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL) MEDICAL, DENTAL, VISION, Rx, and VACATION AFTER 90 DAYS 401K AFTER 6 MONTHS

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years mechanical maintenance experience required.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must have electrical experience.
Must have strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills.
Must be able to work in confined areas with widely varying temperature conditions.
Must have ability to follow instructions and work individually and as part of a team.
Must be able to work weekend shifts.
Must be able to work overtime as required, with or without notice, including being “on call”.

Responsibilities

Meet daily with the Maintenance Manager/Supervisors to define priorities for the day.
Assist in installation of production equipment and developing and corrective and preventive maintenance plan for the plant.
Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
Perform maintenance service request tasks as needed.
Participate in project implementation and Process Improvement teams.
Assist with bench-work repairs to help maintain spare parts inventory.
Identify opportunities for decreasing variation and cost of operation in processes and make recommendations for improvement.
Assist with emergency response situations in the plant.
Comply with all plant safety and personnel policies.
Responsible for adhering to all food safety, quality, and GMP procedures.
Responsible for following all safety guidelines and wearing appropriate PPE when required.
All other duties as assigned.
